Job summary
Do you want to join our current team of thirteen consultants? This is a full time substantive post with main commitment in Perinatal Mental Health and some obstetric component. It includes contribution to the resident on call rota for both obstetrics and gynaecology. The post will be of interest to both, a newly qualified consultant as well as an established consultant with special interest in Perinatal Mental Health. The post will be based at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic new consultant to join our current team of thirteen consultants. This is a full time post with main commitment in Perinatal Mental Health. It includes contribution toa resident on call rota for both obstetrics and gynaecology. This is a new post.
The applicants must have a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and must be registered in the GMC's specialist register or be within six months of obtaining CCT at the time of interview.
Special interest in Perinatal Mental Health is desirable for this post in addition to a broad range of generic skills in Obstetrics and gynaecology. Additional skills and experience in risk management and medical education would also be desirable.
