Titles define individual roles, but at battleface, it's working off-CV and with the team that is essential for contributing to our rapid growth.


We're looking for an Accounting Assistant who will:

  • Process and post monthly producer commissions
  • Process and post accounts payables
  • Post journal entries
  • Enter cash transactions across several ledgers
  • Maintain current, accurate data in the agency management system
  • Provide assistance to the Accounting Department as needed
  • Perform assigned month end processes & closing procedures with team
  • Embrace a culture of continuous improvement developing strategies to maximise efficiencies and unlock capacity

essentials:

  • One year of accounting experience required
  • Basic accounting skills required and knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Strong knowledge of programs & platforms including Excel
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems, processes and changing responsibilities as needed
  • Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Ramp, and Stripe
  • Startup experience
  • Insurance experience
