About the Role:
Our client is a rapidly expanding UK-based Facilities Management organization. They are currently seeking a skilled Management Accountant to enhance their supportive finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including managing prepayments and accruals.
2. Develop and maintain month-end controls and reconciliations.
3. Conduct bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasts.
4. Process fortnightly supplier payment runs and monthly salary payments.
5. Analyze and post monthly timesheet information for project costing.
6. Complete monthly CIS submissions.
7. Prepare and submit quarterly HMRC VAT returns.
8. Reconcile company credit card expenditures and process staff expense claims.
9. Manage the Fixed Asset Register.
10. Address CIS queries and other inquiries not handled by the Finance Assistant.
11. Support the Group Finance Manager and Management Team with financial analysis necessary for effective decision-making.
12. Cover Finance Assistant duties during periods of leave.
Person Specification:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
2. Experience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions.
3. AAT or ACCA/CIMA part/fully qualified is desirable.
4. Administrator-level experience using accounting software (Sage 50 or Xero preferred).
5. High attention to detail and accuracy with a strong ability to identify errors.
6. Presentable, with excellent communication skills and a willingness to engage with colleagues.
7. Ability to work independently and demonstrate good initiative.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with benefits including 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, and additional leave accrued at 3, 5, 10, and 15 years of service.
