Job Title: Finance Manager
Company: Communicate
Communicate is currently assisting a leading retail company in Manchester in their search for a skilled Finance Manager. This role is crucial as the finance team is actively involved in a transformative initiative to enhance the organization's support functions and drive more value in the ever-changing retail sector.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute financial accounts on a monthly basis, including preparing supporting documents
- Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations to identify risks and opportunities
- Create a monthly reporting package for operating costs to present to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
- Prepare annual budgets and monthly reforecasts for store operating costs
Requirements:
- Must be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with some post-qualification experience (PQE)
- Experience in the retail sector, ideally from audit or an in-house role (preferred but not mandatory)
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to contribute to business discussions
- Ambitious and eager to build a successful career in a challenging environment
