Your Role and Responsibilities


As an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Consultant, you will serve as a client-facing practitioner who leads and implements expert services utilizing the breadth of IBM's Oracle OCI offerings and technologies.

A successful Consultant is regarded by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems.


You will work developing solutions that excel at user experience, style, performance, reliability, and scalability to reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value.


Your primary responsibilities will include:
Shape solutions within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure based on key client requirements following Agile methodology.

Knowledge of linking on-premise to OCI cloud using Fast-Connect and Virtual Palo Alto firewalls.


Design and build of the following: Bastions, Secure Global Desktop, Compute VMs, Autonomous Database, Load Balancers, Security Lists, Network Peering, Apex, Oracle Integration Cloud.

Set up process, services, and tools within Oracle Cloud.

Execution of Cloud migration plan.

Positioning appropriate Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Demonstrable experience of ORACLE CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE, ORACLE CLOUD ARCHITECTURE, SERVER CONFIGURATION, OCI, OIC, OCI COMPONENTS, MIGRATING WORKLOADS TO OCI, VCN, COMPUTE, DATABASE, FAST CONNECT

OCI Cloud Infrastructure certification

Experience migrating workloads to OCI

Experience provisioning and supporting OCI components (VCNs, Compute and Database families, Fast Connect)

Ability to demonstrate knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure service components

Experience of implementing and supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure based instances and services (e.g. Compute, Network, Ravello, Dockers, DBCS, ExaCS, ADW, ATP etc).

Experience of building and maintaining scalable and auto-scaled environments using automation and configuration management tools (e.g. Terraform/Ansible/Puppet/Chef)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience implementing Windows and Linux VMs using standard and custom images
