My client a successful and growing Construction recruitment agency are looking to hire a Recruitment Consultant in their offices in central London.

They are open to taking someone with construction recruitment background or other backgrounds and giving sector training. You will be working on Senior level Perm White Collar Construction roles within the UK.


This is a small but growing and ambitious team of 8 that are looking to add 2 or 3 consultants to their team ASAP.

As such you will have direct support from Directors and full market training, and warm roles to work on from day one to kick start your earning.


The role

  • Working on roles such as Quantity Surveyor, site Manager and Project Manager for a range of clients in UK
  • The Recruitment Consultant will manage relationship with existing clients
  • Business development using LinkedIn, and cold calling from sales leads to establish new client relationships
  • Take accurate role details from clients and consult on salary and market trends etc in order to help clients secure the best possible person
  • Ideally you will have 1 year plus experience in 360 Recruitment, or be a resourcer wanting to move to a 360 role.
  • First choice is if you come from a construction recruitment background but this isn't essential as full market training will be given.
  • You will need experience sourcing and managing process for perm roles and experience liaising direct with clients.
  • The successful recruitment consultant will be sales driven, competitive and money motivated wanting to secure a role that will finically reward your hard work
  • Will be a very strong communicator, able to speak to people at all levels in a business, and able to build rapport on the phone with people.
  • Will be hard working and driven to succeed
  • The Recruitment Consultant does not have to be degree educated.

  • Breakfast out once a month if you make a placement and then finish for the day.
- £5K a month threshold then 20% on everything you bill. Average invoice values are around £10K to £15K. This would be £2K in commission on top of your base salary after the desk threshold for one good placement in a month. Once you are trained it is likely you will be making more than one placement a month.

  • Monthly Quarterly and annual sales incentives if you hit your billing targets
  • Annual summer holiday trips for hitting sales targets e.g. to Ibiza or Marbella.
Interviews will be face to face and likely to be a one stage process.
