About us


Lucy Pet Carer Ltd is a Doggy Daycare and Boarding Kennel facility set in grounds of 3 acres on the outskirts of Swindon by junction 16 of the M4.


We have different areas for different groups of dogs, utilising the space for the optimal experience for our furry guests.

Our boarding dogs are included in our daycare service, dogs are placed in to personality-matched groups and rotated throughout the day for socialisation and rest time.


This position is full time, 4 x 10 hour shifts per weekday with one weekend of 8 hours Saturday and Sunday per month (with comes with an extra day off the week leading up to a weekend shift).

Six month probation with the option for £10/hour on completion of the probationary period.

Handlers are expected to manage the groups providing enrichment and monitoring behaviours, providing feeds and water to all.

It is a fast-paced, active role both working with the dogs and the day to day cleaning required of such a facility.

Thorough kennel cleaning, washing up of bowls and feeders, administering medication, monitoring feeds and recording necessary information are all part of the job as well as interacting with clients when dogs are dropped off and picked up, giving a summary of their dogs day with enthusiasm and sensitivity.
