Senior Procurement Analyst | Permanent | Up to £51,000 | RipleyCherry Professional are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Analyst. You will be responsible for working cross-functionally to deliver on supplier performance measurements, customer service and SCJP EU business support, and drive continuous improvement process for Raw/Pack suppliers, owning operational excellenceResponsibilities:- Responsible for Supplier Relationship Management, leading formal regular reviews with SRM suppliers and driving improvements to supplier performance
- Lead and/or support the negotiation strategy development and execution for some regional spend Categories
- Ensures prices and other SAP parameters are well maintained (including price maintenance) for Raw/Pack suppliers
- Manages suppliers and works/leads cross-functionally with stakeholders (e.g. Planning, Quality, etc.) to ensure suppliers meet company requirements.
- Leads implementation of sourcing strategies and supply resilience improvements.
- Proactively assess supplier capacity and initiates improvements with suppliers and stakeholders to increase supply chain reliability and efficiency.
- Ensures supply/material availability at internal facilities and assists in supporting 3PM supply.
- Provides insights, recommendations and executes sourcing strategies and cost savings.
- Identifies and implements process optimization to minimize cost, reduce waste, maximize efficiencies, increase speed
- Create solutions for and implement resolution for EU supply and service issues across all levels of leadership, including complex/dependent supply chains requiring multi-faceted and cross functional solutions.
- Procurement experience with raw materials
- Proven track record in building relationships and strategic alliances internally and externally
- 1-2 years managing external communications/building relationships with suppliers, supplier management.
- Experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods Industry
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operation Management, Engineering, or Finance or relevant military experience considered in lieu of degree requirements
- 5+ years of work experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
