Are you a Humanities Teacher looking for a new opportunity in Leicestershire?Then why not join GSL Education Leicester. We are working with an OFSTED rated "GOOD" school in LE9. The school offers a vibrant, caring and aspirational learning environment for young people and they pride themselves on high expectations. The school is partof Midland Academies Trust which has four secondary academies, providing a high quality education for over 3,000 young people each year.
You will be responsible for planning and creating lesson plans in accordance with the National Curriculum and will ensure lessons are accessible to students of all abilities
To be considered for the Humanities Teacher role, you must:
- Have Qualified Status Teacher (QTS) through a PGCE, B.Ed. with QTS or equivalent.
- Have experience in teaching Humanities.
- Create and deliver lessons according to the National Curriculum
- Regularly assess and review pupils progress and achievement
- Have excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Be resilient and have good behaviour management skills
- Monitor, evaluate and intervene to ensure all students are working towards expected level
- Develop and maintain a learning environment in line with the school's values
- Have experience of working collaboratively within a team of people to provide a stimulating learning environment
- Be in possession of a child only enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to process one through GSL.
