Geography Teacher Opportunity

GSL Education - Leicester is seeking a dedicated and passionate Geography Teacher to join our team at a highly regarded secondary school in Leicester.

About the Role

As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that cover a wide range of geographical topics, including physical and human geography, environmental issues, and global development, to students aged 11-16. Your lessons will encourage critical thinking, analysis, and a deep understanding of the world's diverse landscapes and cultures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan and deliver dynamic and interactive geography lessons, aligned with the national curriculum.
  2. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them reach their full potential.
  3. Work closely with the Geography department to enrich curriculum content and teaching methods.
Requirements
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Geography or a related subject.
  2. Experience teaching Geography at the secondary level is highly desirable.
  3. A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on educational best practices.
