We are seeking two experienced Paralegals to join a growing organisation on a temporary basis. This position is working 35 hours per week Monday to Friday and is expected to last 12 weeks

Duties:

  • Support with the representation and defence of members in aspect to employment law
  • Take, draft and proofread witness statements
  • Prepare bundles of documents for hearings
  • Undertake legal research
  • Attend on members and witnesses at all stages of proceedings
  • Plan and deliver work in accordance with deadlines imposed by litigation timetables

Essential criteria:

Law degree or equivalent legal experience:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to use Microsoft Packages including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Experience working in a team
  • Ability to manage competing demands
