An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and organised person(s) to join the fast paced Pan Dorset MSK Triage Admin Team.

This is a part -time 30 hours per week vacancy.

The role is based at Shelley road, but flexible home/office hybrid working will be considered upon successful finalisation of training.


In order to deliver a modernised service that has patient care and communication at its heart, we need people with excellent IT skills and a desire to improve the patient experience.


Working collaboratively as a team to process and manage incoming orthopaedic referrals and shortlist appropriately using electronic patient record systems such as E-rs and SystmOne to offer patient choice within the correct service.


To act as a point of contact for patients, carers and healthcare colleagues from other services across the county, for provision of information, advice within service protocols and to troubleshoot challenges with the booking process.

This will require the utilisation of excellent administrative, communication and interpersonal skills.

You will work under the direction of the Administration Supervisor with excellent attention to detail.

Experience in a healthcare setting and using patient record systems would be preferred.

Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
