My client is looking for a competition lawyer to join their Group's legal team to support on a range of competition and regulatory matters across the Group.

You will be accountable for leading on legal and strategic projects and the provision of UK and EU competition and regulatory law advice.

In doing this, you will engage with and act as a trusted legal adviser and business partner to stakeholders across the business, including senior stakeholders up to CEO level.

You will identify and develop ways competition and regulatory law can be used to develop and enable strategic agenda.

You will identify and implement appropriate solutions and corrective action regarding any risks of non-compliance.

You will keep abreast of key legal, business, and industry developments and scan the horizon to identify competition and regulatory law risks and opportunities.

You will engage with external stakeholders, including customers, Ofcom, and competition authorities, regarding competition and regulatory law matters.

You'll also lead teams in providing legal advice in contentious competition and regulatory matters to achieve the best business outcomes.

You will also need to manage and deliver against budget for the competition and regulatory law cases you are responsible for, including litigation before the Courts.

Experience working on competition and regulatory matters
~ Experience in supporting on advisory and contentious competition/regulatory matters
~ Previous direct or indirect supervision of junior members (ideal)
