The school is looking for someone who can start after straight away and has experience working with individuals and small groups of children.


About the Teaching Assistant role:

You will be working closely with the class teacher in Nursery to motivate and encourage students to reach their full potential.

Supporting children with special educational needsIndividual support should be provided to students in small groups to ensure learning is taking placeIdeal Teaching Assistant will:
Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant.

Support pupils who have special educational needsHave basic understanding of childhood development and steps to support children of various agesBe helping pupils to increase their confidence and self-esteem by listening to them and devising appropriate strategies.

Be able to work as part of a teamGood written and oral skills Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
