Landmarc Support Services are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join the team at Longmoor Camp in Liss, Hampshire.

As the Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing a team of operatives, ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks and fostering a positive work environment supporting the military.

This role is based on permanent contract, covering 37 hours per week. Mon-Fri, with the option to work additional hours on a weekend.

Hours of work - 37 per wekk

Days of work - Mon- Fri

Contract - Permenant

*Rate is subject to formal settlement of current pay negotiations*

Main Responsibilities

Report directly to the Team Manager and assist in daily operations in the upkeep of accommodation and camp based duties

Utilise computer literacy to track all toolbox talks, order cleaning products, report faults and report writing.

Understand the contract and the standard expected

Proficiently use a tablet to complete daily, weekly, and monthly checks

Lead the team with enthusiasm and the right attitude, motivating them to achieve their goals and daily tasks

Possess a good understanding of waste management and actively coach and mentor team members in waste reduction strategies, cleaning and ground maintenance

Take responsibility for the team's performance and communicate effectively with both team members and higher management

Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to changes in processes and procedures

Showcase excellent IT skills to effectively manage and analyse data

Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance team productivity

Maintain a positive and professional attitude, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in a leadership role is preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organisational and time management abilities

Proficient computer literacy, including the use of tablets and relevant software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Ability to motivate and inspire team members, lead by example

Demonstrate willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility

Positive attitude and ability to embrace change

Must hold Full Valid UK Driving Licence

Landmarc provides the support services that enable Armed Forces from around the world to prepare for frontline military operations across the UK Defence Training Estate (DTE). This includes maintaining and delivering safe and sustainable infrastructure, managing and operating training areas and ranges and delivering multi-million pound projects to improve vital training assets.
