Line Manager: Engagement Manager

Overview of Role: Start and develop tech and digital careers for people in the region, resourcing quality applicants and matching them to TDM Apprenticeship Vacancies which have been generated by the Employer Engagement Team. Exceed KPI targets on starts per quarter.

Core Responsibilities (Right Seat):

  1. Source and attract candidates to the many learning opportunities we have on offer and evaluate their suitability for our programmes.
  2. Drive the conversion of prospective learners onto programmes.
  3. Work to monthly KPIs based on learners converted to TDM programmes including skills bootcamps and apprenticeship starts.
  4. Effectively filter candidates at various points throughout the onboarding process.
  5. Offer high quality impartial information, advice and guidance to applicants and match them to the correct TDM programme e.g. Bootcamp or Apprenticeship.
  6. Build and nurture relationships with key referral organisations in the region (i.e. Job Centres, Career Hubs, Colleges/Universities etc) that can contribute to the referral of candidates to our programmes and the opportunities we have for them, including attending events on behalf of TDM.
  7. Deliver "Applicant Days" and conduct initial assessment of applicants.
  8. Regularly communicate with and motivate candidates to engage.
  9. Compellingly present a range of TDM services in public/online presentations.
  10. Ensure quality and accuracy in the completion of required documentation, processes and systems.
  11. Any other duties as directed by your line manager and/or a Director.
  12. Compliance with all TDM policies, procedures and legal responsibilities, including ISO9001 and Cyber Essentials.

Ideal Candidate:

Required:

  • A history of converting prospects into sign-ups.
  • An individual who has a passion for working with and fostering relationships with employers, stakeholders and learners.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail skills.
  • General IT Skills (Excel, Word, updating a CRM system etc).
  • The ability to deliver against TDM values and communicate with individuals from various backgrounds.
  • The ability to adapt to changing legislation, multi-task and use a variety of systems as required.
  • Due to the nature of this role a full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle is necessary.

Preferred:

  • A background in the recruitment or apprenticeship sector.

This role will require an enhanced DBS with children's barred list check.
