Applications are invited for the position of CAD Technician
The primary areas of responsibility will be working from component data, create models ready for CAM programming / CNC machining:

  • Determining material billet size
  • Aligning geometries within fixture frames for manufacture
  • Creating machining models ready for programming
  • Modifying customer data suitable for machining

Essential Experience:

  • Computer literacy
  • An understanding of workholding for 3axis & 5axis milling
  • 3D CAD modelling experience
  • Excellent communication skills, good team worker, flexible and able to work under pressure
  • Excellent timekeeping

Desirable Experience:

  • HNC or degree in a CAD or design field
  • Experience of Powershape, ProE, Magics or Solid Works
