Our client is a leading manufacturer, supplying a wide range of industrially laminated products to multiple industries including, Electronics, Pharmaceuticals, Oil and Gas.


As a producer of specialist materials, our client operates globally and is now recruiting for a Quality Controller to manage and develop, inbound and outbound quality.


(Quality Controller) - Position Overview
Checking of inbound goods received from supplier against Purchase orders, this is to include:

  • Quantity
  • Packaging
  • Labelling
  • Actual versus Technical Specifications
  • Monitoring staff, ensuring they carry out and complete inprocess quality checks and documentation.
  • Final QC release of completed goods.
  • Managing, updating, and auditing of ISO 9001 Quality system and related procedures
  • Investigating any Quality complaints raised by customers, this is to include report writing.
  • Visits to suppliers to monitor production of goods.
  • Support to the R&D function to run test equipment

(Quality Controller) - Position Requirements

  • GCSE level C or above in, Maths, English, Science (Physics, Chemistry, or Biology).
  • A recognised Quality Control qualification is preferred (NVQ).
  • Referenced experience in working within a Manufacturing QC environment for a sustained period of at least 12 months with direct responsibility for carrying out Quality Control functions relevant to the role.
  • Keen, Positive manner & outlook
  • Flexible, able to cope with changing requirements.
  • Capacity for multitasking
  • Thorough and detailed manner of working
  • Follow processes and procedures reliably, able to analyse and make improvements to them.
  • Willing to learn.
Experienced with and able to use standard Test equipment such as:

  • Tensile Tester
  • Micrometer / Vernier

(Quality Controller) - Position Remuneration

  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays


Monday
  • Friday (9:00am 17:00pm)
  • Free onsite parking

  • Salary £25,000 to £30,000 (dependent on experience)
