General Duties

We are looking for someone to join our team to help out with General Duties around the store and warehouse, and to support the furniture delivery team.


The employment is on a temporary basis, for approximately 2 months (Mon-Friday 9AM-5PM) with opportunities to secure permanent employment based on your performance.

General duties will include;

  • Receive, unload and inspect warehouse deliveries
  • Maintain a clean and organised warehouse space
  • Move stock (furniture & sofas) from the warehouse to the showroom as needed
  • Collaborate with the sales team to meet showroom display requirements
  • Support the delivery team (drivers mate)
  • Unload furniture at customer houses & provide excellent customer service during deliveries and installations
  • Provide administrative support to staff as needed
  • Adhere to safety standards and guidelines by the company
  • Help out with general duties around the store
Preferred experience;

  • Warehouse and delivery operations
  • Valid driving license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift heavy items
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory


Please note that this is a general duties position, and specific responsibilities may vary based on the needs of the organization.

Salary:
From £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
