Worcestershire is where you need to be next. Join our Safeguarding Quality Assurance Team as an Independent Reviewing Officer for Looked after Children. This role offers the chance to work with a supportive team in the Safeguarding & Quality Assurance Service.
We are hiring for 1 full-time IRO to oversee children and young people in care. Your responsibilities include chairing reviews, developing permanency plans, and ensuring positive outcomes for our children. Crucially, this role focuses on amplifying children's voices, encouraging their input in plans, and facilitating their participation in meetings.
As highlighted by Ofsted, your role involves providing security, challenge, and support to Social Care Teams and partners, in addition to leveraging your quality assurance expertise and experience.
We seek an experienced Social Worker with Management Experience, registered with Social Work England, possessing a sound understanding of policy, legislation, and best practices. You must exhibit a strong dedication to collaborative working and child-centered practices, along with proven skills in managing complex and difficult conversations.
