We are looking for a Service Controller to join our team at Head Office

Main Duties

  • Liaising with maintenance providers to ensure quality of service and agreed response times
  • Record all VORs on internal live reporting system and update daily
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers, including attending meetings on and off site with customers and/or suppliers to resolve any issues.
  • To authorise and monitor third party costs.
  • Manage the fleet budgets under your control, inclusive of identifying problematic vehicles and poor services providers. Make changes to bring about a positive outcome.
  • Ensuring that SLA's are achieved with minimum downtime for the customer
  • Identifying warranty work and submitting claims as required.
  • Authorisation of repairs and processing invoices utilising the Company's in house system
  • Mechanical industry knowledge
  • Experience of working in the motor trade/automotive industry in the capacity of Service Advisor/Controller would be ideal

Requirements:

  • Able to multitask and organise
  • Negotiating warranty repairs and maintenance costs therefore knowledge of the HGV transport industry is required
