In this role,
you'll be working across the store to replenish stock, check dates across our fresh produce and grocery products as well as helping unload deliveries.
It's important you are comfortable being on your feet, working at pace and using technology as part of our role.
Whilst you will be part of a close-knit team, we'll also trust you to work alone and your initiative.
Whichever area you're working in, you'll take pride in doing the right thing for our customers, have a keen for detail and be passionate about helping people to provide the best possible service.
For this particular role we are looking for a Backdoor/ Warehouse colleague to join our food team.
Duties include but not limited to:
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or with a Electric Powered Pallet Truck.
Transfering goods to the appropriate storage space.
General tidying and cleaning of the warehouse.
There will be heavy equipment in operation in the warehouse areas which can be dangerous, so following workplace health and safety rules will be essential.
Making sure the deliveries are perfectly stacked and secure to reduce the risk of damaged product
