Their newly renovated offices, located just outside Manchester City Centre, provide a modern and comfortable workspace for their dedicated team. As part of this dynamic environment, you'll have the chance to work closely with the hands-on Managing Director who plays a key role in the company's operations.
Your Role as a Transactional Finance Manager:
As a Transactional Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial accuracy and efficiency of the company's operations. Your insights and analysis will drive strategic decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounts payable processes including invoice processing, payment management, and supplier relations.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the purchase ledger system.
- Manage financial records and reconcile supplier statements for transparency.
- Optimize cash flow by initiating timely payments and fostering positive vendor relationships.
- Lead and support the purchase ledger team, promoting best practices and efficiency.
- Implement controls and procedures to ensure compliance and risk management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with experience in accounts payable.
- 3+ years of accounts payable processing experience.
- Proficiency in financial software such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
