About The Role

As a Project Manager in Central Functions , you'll work collaboratively with other change professionals to realise business benefits through delivery of strategic projects in our portfolio, covering Finance, Legal, Risk etc. You could be responsible for both standalone, end to end change projects or be part of a wider programme of change. You will lead the project team, role modelling our values, while partnering with your sponsors and senior stakeholders.

You'll have an agile mind-set and ensure delivery is value and outcome based. You'll be passionate about change and want to make a difference.

About You

Skills and Experience

  • Experience within project and change delivery, having delivered a variety of projects of different types and sizes using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of change management and implementing people, process and systems change
  • Forward thinking, with experience in planning and forecasting and the ability to understand and manage risk proactively
  • Demonstrative experience of problem solving and removing impediments
  • Excellent communication skills, coupled with exemplary stakeholder management, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • A growth mind-set with process improvement ability, focused on continuous improvement
  • Ability to manage a budget including forecasting and estimating
  • Experience managing suppliers
  • Understanding of IT systems development lifecycle
  • Project, Agile or Change management qualifications would be an advantage but not essential
  • Leadership experience
  • Experience within Insurance / Financial services would be beneficial but not essential
