Job Title: DSP Audio Filters and Algorithms Designer
  • Design, develop, integrate, evaluate, and verify DSP audio filters and algorithms.
  • Develop, integrate, and verify DSP embedded solutions.
  • Deliver high-quality designs and code within agreed timelines.
  • Ensure high-quality tests are conducted within agreed deadlines.
  • Demonstrate customer acceptance of Renesas solutions by meeting specified requirements.
  • Effectively prioritize activities to ensure goals and timelines are met.
  • Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
  • Focus on reducing code maintenance and enhancing code reusability.
Qualifications
Essential:
  • Solid understanding of DSP, MCU, IC, and audio codec architectures.
  • Proficiency in embedded architectures and real-time embedded software.
  • Fluency in real-time embedded C/C++ programming with a deep understanding of DSP algorithm development.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
  • Competence in Python and/or MATLAB.
  • Knowledge of fixed-point implementation.
  • Familiarity with software development workflows and methodologies.
  • Experience with issue tracking tools like JIRA for reporting bugs.
  • Capability to work efficiently under tight schedules and deadlines.
  • Effective and proactive communication skills crucial in a diverse multi-site environment.
Desirable:
  • Experience and knowledge in audio, digital filtering, and portable audio applications (e.g., headphones, wireless earbuds).
  • Expertise in optimizing DSP solutions for low footprint, low latency, and low power applications.
  • Prior experience in team or technical leadership roles.
  • Proficiency with CI tools such as Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with SystemC.
