Class 1 ADR (C + E) HGV Driver

We are working with a client who is seeking for more HGV Class 1 ADR (Cat C + E) drivers to add to their team. As part of the team you will play a crucial role in ensuring the load from the dock station is taken to their other depot, tipping the load and then coming back with the reloaded truck back to the docking station, Curtainsider trailer and inclusive of manual handling. Hard hat provided.

Main responsibilities:

  • Being accountable for the safe and timely delivery of goods on the vehicle
  • Being responsible for securing the goods in the vehicle and unloading at each drop
  • Perform daily checks on the vehicle and trailer and keep the vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Experience:

Class 1 (Cat C + E) driving experience (1 year minimum for insurance purposes)

Valid CPC

Clean driving record

ADR Licence

Location:

Birkenhead

Salary:

£15.50 ph (£20 ph on Bank Holidays)

Holiday pay accrued separately

Working Pattern:

Monday to Friday, alternative days (0800 start)

Job type:

Full time, Part time, Temp to perm
