Overview:


Energy Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Senior Petrophysicist to join their client's Aberdeen delivery team on a contract basis.


The Petrophysicist will be responsible for well and reservoir management, providing high-quality PP input into hydrocarbon maturation projects, identification/assurance of business opportunities of the assigned field, and operational support during drilling phases.


Responsibilities:

  • Deliver data acquisition planning support and support drilling and logging operations for the HPHT project.
  • As a UK petrophysics team member provide flexible operations support across company portfolio activities (exploration and development drilling, WRFM, and abandonment).
  • Ability to provide QC for petrophysical products and programmes.
  • Responsible for compliance with the client's Process Safety standards on assigned fields and activities.
  • Responsible for the implementation of the HSE Critical Activities Document.
  • Focus on quality, efficiency, fit for purpose delivery, especially on preDG3 projects.
  • Delivery of quality PP work/support for drilling and WRFM operations in assigned fields.
  • Provide Safety leadership in all aspects of operational delivery of operated wells (esp. HPHT).

Qualifications:

  • Offshore and onshore experience in the safe operational delivery of wells.
  • Experience in both NPNT and HPHT logging environments.
  • Expert level knowledge and experience in all aspects of petrophysical data acquisition.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment including service companies.
