Position Summary

We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to drive privacy and data compliance initiatives within the Global Product & Design organization.

As a Staff Privacy Product Manager, you will work closely with business, legal, design, engineering, and partner product teams to ideate and implement privacy strategies and solutions to establish and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and seamlessly integrate into the user experience, prioritizing transparency, and user control.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of privacy principles, extensive experience in product management, and a proven track record of successfully launching and managing privacy-focused products. This is a high visibility role that requires excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization, and stakeholder management across multiple business teams. You will collaborate closely with partners to design, prioritize, and launch critical privacy solutions globally.

Responsibilities

  • Provide product expertise and thought leadership in the areas of privacy and consent, with an understanding of how privacy regulations impact and influence use of data across various business processes and functions.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive privacy product strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Define and prioritize privacy product requirements and collaborate with cross functional stakeholders across the organization from ideation to development to launch.
  • Stay informed on the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in data handling to assess their impact on maintaining compliance and potential for novel privacy solutions.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to enable customer focused features with a "privacy by design" approach.
  • Promote a culture of privacy awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
  • Identify new data use cases across various business units to drive privacy impact assessments and requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams; including legal, engineering, and design, to define product requirements and specifications.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Product Management or other relevant experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of global privacy landscape and technologies preferred.
  • Experience launching and developing products and features for a global audience at scale
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate and present to stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • Demonstrate strong ownership to deliver exceptional customer experiences and customer empathy.
  • Experience working with and managing the needs of multiple stakeholders and business teams.
  • Experience driving clarity in ambiguous situations to drive forward progress.
  • Experience with data analysis and driving insights to inform product and business decisions.
  • Experience leveraging machine learning or AI driven tools to solve complex problems is a plus. Must have an interest in driving innovation in this rapidly changing space.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
