Delivery and Collection Driver

Please note in some very rare instances drivers must be able to deliver packages weighing up to 35kg to our customers these will be double whatever rate you are on.
Applicants must be available six days a week, from Monday to Saturday, and be willing to cover areas with postcodes including GU1 3, GU2 4, GU3 1, GU 4 8, GU5 0, GU6 7, GU6 8, GU26 6, GU30 7 and any other routes contracted to the business
You must work efficiently, quickly and with good customer service
You will load your van efficiently utilising headroom in the vehicle
An iPhone with iOS 10+ or Android 5+ to work with with full battery when you arrive
Utilise GPS devices and delivery app to navigate routes effectively.
Adhere to all road safety regulations and road laws
This opportunity is open to dependable and self-disciplined delivery experts on a Self Employed basis.
Previous experience with 3.5-tonne vehicles is essential, as drivers can anticipate driving an average of 185 miles per day.
Right to work in the UK
Full UK / EU driving license
No more than 6 driving penalty points with no endorsements
Applicants must be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes
You will be responsible for loading your own van in the proper sequence (training will be provided). Parcels can weigh up to 35kg**9 to 11 hours of scheduled work
A fully insured van will be provided under the driver's name.
Fuel card will be provided exclusively for delivery purposes.
Packages are paid per stop at the rate of £0.85 to £0.95 depending on areas being covered. The average number of stops can flex between 120 to 180 per day - higher in busier days.
The first payment will be made after 4 weeks from commencement And every Monday afterwards
Daily debrief after deliveries.
Van to be left at the depot daily.
Seeking individuals who can commute easily to Farnborough depot daily for load out and debrief.
Pay:
£13.30-£14.30 per hour
Expected hours: 70 per week
