SENIOR ENGINEERING MANAGER | GLOBAL FINTECH SCALEUP | HYBRID (LONDON/WARSAW/LIMASSOL)

Space Exec are working with an exciting Global FinTech Trading Scale-Up, who are looking to hire a Senior Data Engineering Manager on a Permanent basis.

Location:

Hybrid (x3 a week in the office) in their offices in either: London, Warsaw or Limassol

Salary:

Up to £150K GDP / 120K Euros / 45K PLN gross monthly

Role Information:

The role is managerial/leadership but they still need to be able to be hands-on so they can communicate with the team well, and someone who is able to jump in on the hands-on coding as and when needed. Able to lead, guide and mentor the team (at least 3 direct reports), managing the data platform and services. Implemented the data engineering strategy, build roadmaps, oversee the effective delivery of the roadmap.

Required Experience:

Experience with most of the following:

  1. Python
  2. Databricks
  3. Spark
  4. Airflow
  5. AWS S3, EC2, EMR
  6. SQL Database, NoSQL Database Postgres, Redshift
  7. Kafka data streaming
  8. Tableau, other data visualisation software
  9. Data architecture, data-base management, data processing, data mining, ML
  10. DevOps and continuous delivery experience (automation, monitoring, logging, auditing)
  11. Leading teams and working cross-functionally with other leaders in the business
Desirable Experience:

FinTech experience. Experience deploying AI solutions at scale. (NB: this client is unable to provide visa sponsorship, so candidates must have the right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship)
