Who you'll be supporting & more about the role:
This is an a
mazing opportunity for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our support living service in Alfreton (DE55).
You will be supported in a managerial capacity alongside a service leader level 3 and of course the help of an enthusiastic team of colleagues who go the extra mile to ensure the people we support live their best lives possible.
Duties of the role include and are not limited to, leading, engaging and motivating a team of advanced support workers within service,
promoting a positive and passionate culture, proactively contributing to the
management of potential risks. Ensuring all
regulatory, professional standards in social care is followed. Promote continuous improvement to staff through the
use of KPI's and delivery plans. To lead the design and
management of care planning and to embed the importance of person centred care within the services culture.
With experience working in a health or social care setting, you will have an upbeat positive manner, as well as having a genuine passion for supporting people to become a part of their local and wider community.
You will also have experience working with people supported who present behaviours that require intensive support planning and management to ensure their safety and quality of life at all times.
In addition you will be comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role - training can be offered to support this area.
professional qualification in Health and Social Care, i.e.
Nurse,
Social Worker, SVQ Level 3 plus supervisory units (Scotland) /
Care Management Level 3 (England).
