Job Title: KS1 Teacher at a 'Good' School in Birmingham

Empowering Learning is excited to announce an opportunity for a Primary Teacher to join their team and work in KS1 at an Ofsted rated 'Good' school located in Birmingham.

As the successful candidate, you will have the chance to work with a diverse group of children with mixed abilities while also providing PPA cover. It is crucial that you possess a solid understanding of the National Curriculum and have prior experience in effectively planning and delivering high-quality learning experiences for students.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is deeply passionate about educating children and is committed to making a positive impact on their lives both in and out of the school environment.

The ideal candidate should:

  • Be enthusiastic and engaging, ensuring that learning is not only educational but also enjoyable for the children.
  • Be a qualified teacher holding a QTS qualification (ECTs are welcome).
  • Demonstrate resilience and adaptability in their teaching approach to address the diverse challenges that students may encounter.
  • Have previous experience working in either Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2).
  • Possess the ability to effectively manage the classroom and handle challenging behaviors.
  • Desirable to have experience or knowledge in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
