Based in Glasgow, you willwork as part of small local financial accounting team, whilst collaborating with other finance teams across the business on a global level.


Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the month end, quarter end and year close processes
  • Collaborating with the financial stakeholders locally and in other regions of the business.
  • Assisting the offshore team with specific reporting areas.
  • End to end responsibility of the balance sheet and providing corresponding analysis.
  • Preparing relevant financial documents under IFRS/UK GAAP
  • Assisting with the monthly payroll processes
  • Reviewing and managing journal entries
  • Continuously driving process improvement across the team via the systems used
  • Supporting ad hoc project related work.
Applicants will be Qualified Chartered Accountants (CA/ACCA/CIMA), ideally with Accounting and Reporting experience gained within a large corporate environment. Ideal for an ambitious newly qualified accountant. It is advantageous to have key knowledge of IFRSand UK GAAP.

You will be a strong technical accountant, excellent excel skills and enjoy collaborating as part of a wider team to drive continuous improvement.
