Job Title: Financial Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Robert Walters. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for financial accounting, management, and reporting for our firm and its legal entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial accounting across all GAAPS and legal entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Management and reporting of compensation expenses, including regulatory reporting for FED and FinRep returns.
  3. Technical advisory and discussion on compensation-related matters, including internal and external reporting processes.
  4. Production of detailed monthly compensation and benefits expense reporting and analysis for senior management.
  5. Compensation-related statutory account disclosures, including Staff Costs, Employment Compensation, Post-Employment Benefits, and Key Management Personnel disclosures.
  6. Quarterly regulatory reporting for the firm, business units, and legal entities, requiring detailed analysis of compensation and benefit expense under both IFRS and US GAAP.
  7. Work closely with HR, Accounting Policy, and other controller groups to ensure completeness and accuracy of all disclosures and regulatory reporting outputs.
  8. Advise upon compensation-related technical matters which impact internal and external reporting.

Requirements:

  1. Professional Accountancy Qualification, or equivalent specialization in Finance.
  2. Good excel skills and attention to detail.
  3. Risk awareness and good guardianship skills.
  4. Experience of pension accounting (IAS 19) and Internal Capital Adequacy (ICAAP) for pension risk.
