We are looking to recruit a Clinical Administrator to provide comprehensive, professional, and effective administrative support to our our Counselling and Support Services and Community teams.


The post holder must display a considerable degree of intuitive work, possess balance judgement and maintain a calm, friendly and efficient manner when dealing with staff, patients, colleagues and visitors.

Ideally you will have previous administrative experience, including working in a health or social care setting. You will need experience of using IT systems including Microsoft office and be a good team player

Essential Criteria

  • GCSE English Language, grade C or above
  • RSA 1 and 2 typing/word processing or able to demonstrate equivalent advanced standard of work.
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office and bespoke management systems
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Previous experience of note taking
  • Clear understanding of confidentiality and data security in a patient setting
  • Excellent team working, communication and time management skills
  • The ability to work flexibly if required
  • Empathy and kindness when dealing with patients or carers in levels of distress
  • The ability to recognise and report risk
  • An understanding of report writing
  • An understanding of Audit.
