We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team within the Housekeeping department as Public Area Supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The successful candidate will be committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the public areas of The Ritz London. As a Public Area Supervisor, responsibilities also includes
Supervising the Public Area team and ensure the following:
- Cleaning entire lobby area, including vacuuming carpets, cleaning walls, cleaning entrance areas, doors, dusting and cleaning art work, brass polishing, hoovering and steaming curtains in public areas.
- Clean public restrooms including mirrors, light fixtures and doors. Mop floors and re-stock toilets amenities
- Ensuring and maintaining all public areas to remain presentable within The Ritz standards
- To complete the "Job of the Day" which can include; chandelier cleaning in Rivoli Bar, high dusting and cleaning wall lights etc
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant experience in a 5* property is desirable
- Excellent customer service skills
- Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills
- Good command of the English language, both spoken and written
- Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
