Job Description Construction Trainee/Apprentice

As a Construction Apprentice, you will have the chance to learn and hone skills in various construction aspects such as Health & Safety, Quantity Surveying, Estimating, Design, Site Management, and On-Site Skills. You will be working in site offices and on-site under the supervision of qualified Managers and tradespeople, engaging in both on-the-job training and formal education.

• Construction Trainee Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in various construction tasks as directed by Management, supervisors, and skilled tradespeople.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Work within all aspects of the Construction Workplace.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
• Participate in training sessions and complete coursework related to the apprenticeship program.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time and to the required standards.
• Perform any additional tasks as required to support the construction team.

• Requirements:
• Genuine interest in pursuing a career in construction.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices (training will be provided).

• Minimum qualifications:
• GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.
