The Global Deployment department is accountable for the provision, evolution, onboarding and enablement of a suite of optimum practice talent management services for SHL customers.

Within Global Deployment, the Custom Solutions team are accountable for scoping, influencing and delivering the psychometric aspects of this suite of services, liaising with both internal and external customers throughout the lifecycle of these projects.


  • Services include developing Situational Judgement tests; customised reporting solutions; providing insight and direction for organisations based on assessment of their talent. The Custom Solutions team are accountable for ensuring that these services are delivered in the most efficient way possible following optimum practice processes and methodologies.

What you will be doing:


After your initial training you will become an authority in product-oriented custom professional services delivery, upholding and role modelling optimum practice processes, tools and methodologies.


  • Deliver custom professional services projects, liaising with the local team and customer as needed to deliver projects to time, cost and quality expectations.
  • Support the scoping of productoriented solutions to learn about E2E solution design and delivery, and build credible partnerships with the wider professional services community to provide guidance, advice and guidance where necessary.
  • This role is heavily data driven, you will be evaluating data for test development, optimisation and benchmarking, conducting local validation studies as well as developing content for assessments and supporting tools.
  • You will create and deliver customer results presentations and find solutions in a customerfocused delivery environment.
  • Guiding key internal and external stakeholders and assisting on solution scoping is also required within this role.

What experience are we looking for:

A data driven, ambitious undergraduate with a Degree in Psychology, and/ or a Masters/post-graduate qualification in field closely related to Occupational Psychology

  • An intermediate knowledge of excel, SPSS and PowerPoint
  • You will need good communication and organisation capabilities and have some experience of working as a member of a team.
  • Being able to work independently and take care of own workload is essential in this role.
  • Experience of working within a commercial environment in a relevant industry would be advantageous.
Knowledge of psychometric test design, analytics and data management

  • Experience delivering assessmentrelated solutions or insights (for example, developing content, evaluating and interpreting data, preparing reports, conducting validation studies)
  • Experience on projects and taking care of customer/stakeholder relationships.
  • Masters in Occupational Psychology.
