B3 Counterbalance FLT / Forklift Truck Driver


The Best Connection are recruiting for a B3 Forklift Driver to begin work for our client in New Hythe, Larkfield.


This will be a ongoing role with the pontential to become full time with our client in the near future.

- £13.39 per hour
  • Monday to Friday 08:00 till 16:30
- £17.81 per hour after 40 hours
- £20.09 for work on Saturdays

We are looking for an experienced Fork Lift Driver B3 Counter Balance with an up to date FLT licence.

The successful applicant will have the ability to work quickly and efficiently with mínimal error, the aptitude to work well within and team and on their own initiative.


Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a forklift to move, stack, and organize materials and products
  • Load and unload trucks and containers using a forklift
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift to ensure it is in proper working condition
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
  • Keep accurate records of inventory movement and storage locations
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks

Requirements:

  • Valid B3 Counter Balance forklift operator certification or license
  • Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to forklift operation
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately track inventory movements
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
