To join our growing team we are currently looking to employ a carpenter/kitchen fitter.

Job role, requirements and responsibilities

  • Independently complete kitchen and furniture installations to a very high standard.
  • Work as a team with our existing fitters to successfully complete larger projects.
  • Handle customers requirements and work with other trade people in an onsite environment.
  • Carry out snagging work, either directly after installation, or with our ongoing warranty care to our customers.
  • The role will be mainly site based, but you may be required on occasion to assist our joiners within the workshops.
  • Work efficiently and meet agreed targets.
  • Basic plumbing and electrical experience would be beneficial

You will require:

  • Excellent customer care skills; you will be the face of the company, directly in front of customers. You should be able to reassure and speak to customers in an informed and professional manner.
  • Ability to work as part of a team but also have the initiative to work alone.
  • The ability to work to a very high level of quality
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • Pro active and positive attitude
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Ability to abide to health and safety requirements
  • We would consider all levels of experience, providing training where required. However time served carpentry/kitchen fitting experience is required.
  • Some of our work is nationwide, so you must be willing to work away and lodge when required.
