Workshop Labourer/machine Operator

Minerva produce high-end, bespoke kitchens and furniture to both local and nationwide clients from our workshops in Stoke Edith, Herefordshire. To join our growing team we are currently looking to employ a workshop labourer/machine operator.

**Job requirements and responsibilities**

The role will mainly be workshop based, however you may at times be required to assist members of our team to install our handmade kitchens on site. Main roles include;
- Support the joiners and machinists with kitchen manufacturer
- Take deliveries
- Maintain a tidy workshop environment, sweeping up, including waste management as required
- Sand and prepare products ready for our spraying department
- Load and pack goods for delivery
- Using various wood working machinery
- Support fitters on installations
- Drive the company vehicles, and assist with deliveries
- Support other team members as required
- Other duties as required, including labouring in our yard & workshop

**You will require**:

- Good practical skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and have the initiative to work alone.
- An interest or experience with woodworking would be beneficial
- The ability to work to a good level of quality
- Be punctual and reliable
- Pro active and positive attitude
- Good problem solving skills
- Ability to abide to health and safety requirements
