External Sales Representative - Bradford

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales person to join our successful team.


The External Dealer will form part of the senior sales team for the distribution of selling industrial fasteners, fixings, tools and associated products in the local area around the office location in Bradford and will have responsibility to work externally to create new clients at Gold & Silver level throughout the sales region allocated, helping provide a high level of service to the Sylvester Group clients and also maintain high standards across all aspects of the business.


Sales Representative - Key responsibilities & tasks

  • Delivering results on targets set by the Directors
  • Responsible for building strong trading relationships with existing customers
  • Responsible for Identifying sales opportunities and building new customers throughout the allocated area
  • Responsible for introducing and obtaining sales for new products and ranges to existing customers and also new clients throughout the sales region allocated Identifying customer requirements and delivering tailored quotations and solutions meeting the customers' requirements in a timely and professional manner
  • Managing core values in all aspects
  • Promoting a culture focussed on continuous improvement across the sales operation
  • Contributing to sales strategy and challenging daily performance to achieve these
  • Ensuring a strong customer focused approach
  • To report to the Directors of the company on all aspects of sales once a week and attend sales meetings as required
  • To work alongside the Group Sales Manager to create strategy to increase sales

The ideal Sales Representative will have the following skills & experience:

  • Previous external sales experience
  • High levels of integrity
  • Ability to manage own time effectively to meet targets and deadlines
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic and resilient approach
  • A great team player who demonstrates Passion, Respect, Honesty, Flexibility, Hard Work and Accountability
  • Holds a Full UK Driving Licence and can demonstrate the right to work in the UK
