We are currently recruiting a
Head Steward to be a part of our integral team in
ITC Officers Mess, Vimy Barracks.

What you'll be doing
⦁ Serving food and beverages
⦁ Working front of house but must be able to work in other areas of the business if required.
⦁ General housekeeping
⦁ Supervision of services within the Mess operational business area
⦁ Leading your team and supervising
⦁ Assist with function preparation of service area and/or service points as directed by the Mess manager (silver cleaning, dining room layout, napkins etc)
⦁ Efficient completion of company paperwork
⦁ Reception duties
⦁ Cash handling and till operation.

Experience

  • Previous experience of working in a Mess in an operational role is required.
  • Good numerical and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety and food safety requirements.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) is desirable
