Your New Role...

Are you a Harry Potter fan? If so, you'll love working as part of the Buying, Sourcing & Merchandising team at WBSTL
As a Assistant Buyer you will facilitate the product development and purchasing for our stores through providing administrative support to the buying & sourcing team members, monitoring the Critical Path, managing supplier relationships and producing accurate reports

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Partner with the Senior Buyer to manage products across a range of categories across the complete lifecycle, including assisting with buying selections, analysing performance and building seasonal design range plans.
  • Carry out pricing, sales & trend analysis on new product opportunities and present back to seniors with a view to influence the design of future ranges.
  • Work with the merchandising team to
  • Support with the development of junior team members such as the BAA, providing support in managing product data entry including Purchase Orders, as well prepping information for trade & seasonal buy meetings.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Knowledge of Aptos (or other buying systems) would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • Experience of managing a BA
  • Commercial awareness and organisational skills, complimented by creative flair
  • Cope with the pressure of having to make important decisions and meet tight deadlines
  • Proven experience delivering presentations with confidence

Working pattern:

  • 40 hours per week (full time) on a Monday to Friday pattern.
  • Occasional weekend work (as an alternate) may be required to support the wider retail business.
  • Because of the adaptive nature of this role flexibility is required to suit the needs of the business.
