Communications Coordinator to join our expanding communications team.

The Role:

  • Supporting the daily activities of the Communications function covering external and internal projects as well as deputising for the Head of Comms and supporting their strategic comms plan
  • Coordinating key internal communications such as the monthly newsletter and leading on organisation of engagement events and supporting the VIVA awards
  • Reporting and analysing of internal communications projects and press activity
  • Overseeing the communications plan via a central calendar and optimising content plan for corporate social media sites, primarily LinkedIn
  • Coordinating of 'Planning' events and workshops to align crossfunctional activity and estates milestones
  • Supporting in administration of Communications team functions such as #LifeatInspired inbox and budget controls
  • Helping to sustain effective relationships with external stakeholders throughout the planning process such as working with local council, contractors, media and others
  • Assisting in the delivery of campaigns and activities with external partners such as press events and internal and corporate partners on local and national levels
  • Overseeing the creation and production of content for both external and internal use, across literature, artwork, presentations and videos.

Key Requirements:

  • Understanding of PR, journalism, internal communications, and digital communications
  • Multisite operations and collaborating with internal/external teams would be advantageous
  • Highly organised with excellent planning, time management and communication skills
  • Confident communicating at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent networking skills, and strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.
