What does this role involve? As the Group Workplace Manager your remit will cover hard and soft facilities maintenance across the UK, building and facilities compliance, concierge, post room, and an onsite canteen.

Day to day, you will; * Have a high degree of independent judgment and discretion to identify, diagnose, and solve problems while taking a team approach to daily office operations.

* Identify, develop, recommend, and implement cost saving opportunities and seek approval for recommendations. Strive for cost effective solutions and ROIs for future planning.

* Champion strategies to ensure that the organization's culture, systems, and processes support an environment that is inclusive for all and where employees feel able to contribute their fullest.

Leverage diversity and inclusion as a tool to design and implement employee programs and services. * Lead and motivate the team to achieve high standards. * Ensure environments effectively optimised and represent a welcoming space for employees and visitors. * Create and implement the Workplace Strategy including full budgetary control. * Ensure all occupied premises are maintained in accordance with current legislation and best practice. * Have overall responsibility of the Security Management System and personnel. * Lead Management of Catering, Cleaning and ancillary functions including waste disposal. * Maintain current lease obligations and negotiating new terms. * Ensuring insurances are in place for Group activities. * Cultivate positive relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and align facilities services accordingly. * Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts for facility-related goods and services. Ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.

Who are we looking for? As a Workplace subject matter expert, you will have experience working with a diverse portfolio, including retail, office, and warehouse, creating great environments where staff can thrive in Ideal candidates will also; * Hold relevant professional, technical or management qualification and experience in facilities.

* Demonstrable planning and project management skills. * Have space management and programming experience. * Commercial awareness in dealing with suppliers and contractual terms. * A strong knowledge in project management of office moves and dilapidation works. * Strong people management skills, leadership qualities and good networking abilities. * An analytical approach to problems and a passion for solving them. * Be self-motivated, proactive, and forward thinking, with a strong ability to work autonomously. * Confident in working with stakeholders up to a senior level, both to take on tasks and present results.

* You will have the ability to think laterally and help find the best solution * Hold a full driver's licence and ability to travel is essential.
