Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Manager to join our Construction team at Kier Group.

Location: Flexible work arrangements considered

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver design information in accordance with the agreed design programme and deliverable schedule.
  • Ensure appointed design consultants meet their duties in line with their appointment, verifying returns for compliance with standards and brief.
  • Provide design input at both preconstruction and construction stages of projects.
  • Produce design programmes, design scopes, design responsibility matrices, appointments, and schedules.
  • Attend and chair necessary meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering high-value, complex design work from the main contractor's perspective.
  • Ability to organize, plan, programme, and manage workloads.
  • Experience with site/contract procedures is an advantage.
