The Exciting Opportunity

QBE European Operations (EO) is thrilled to be recruiting an ER Specialist to join our forward-thinking ER team. This is a fantastic chance for individuals passionate about ER to join an organization that prioritizes the wellbeing of its employees. This role is available at either of our main office locations: London or Leeds.

Your New Role
  • Managing various formal and informal ER processes including:
    • Disciplinary investigations and hearings
    • Grievance investigations and hearings
    • Restructuring and redundancies
    • Performance Management
    • Absence management and support
  • Ensure consistent and efficient application of policy/process
  • Provide guidance to managers and People colleagues on ER implications of complex organizational changes
  • Act as an active ER partner to the business by addressing ER issues within assigned business areas
  • Participate in People projects to support the function
About You
  • Experienced in ER and resolving complex ER issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, and redundancies
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build and maintain key business relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good understanding of employment legislation, ACAS codes of practice, and case law
  • Able to prioritize competing tasks effectively
  • Previous experience in a professional services company
  • Professionally qualified (CIPD or equivalent)
