This is a fixed term, part time (21 hours per week) appointment for 3 months with scope for extension. This role is only open for recent graduates of Birkbeck, University of London.

Are you a recent Birkbeck graduate with a passion for making change for students while learning and developing new skills?


We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Birkbeck Students' Union's fast growing team, and be involved in the exciting transformative period to build a better Union.


In this role, you will be responsible for engaging our Course Representatives in our Student Voice processes, to ensure that student views are at the heart of the work that the Union does throughout the year.

You will expand organisational and facilitation skills by developing and delivering an enhanced training offer for our reps.


You will also support our students in building and maintaining academic communities through organising different social events and activities for our reps.


In order to be successful in this role, you will have a passion for enhancing the student experience and making positive change at Birkbeck.

You will be able to demonstrate good organisational and communication skills and you will have the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team to deliver high quality services to students.

Remuneration:

Grade 3 of the College's London Pay Scale which is £25,923 rising to £28,728 per annum.


The salary quoted will be pro-rata for this part time post and is on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.
