About the Role
In the heart of Veeva is the European Business Consulting group, a strategic area for the company's growth. This group provides an unparalleled consulting service in Life Sciences, leveraging Veeva's strong position as the preferred digital partner for 85% of the top 20 Pharmaceutical firms.
As a Consultant, you will oversee workstreams on consultancy projects for Veeva clients. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and monitoring all aspects of delivery within those workstreams. Your role will involve analyzing complex issues, devising innovative solutions, and establishing strong relationships with clients to provide tangible, enduring value at the forefront of digital and commercial innovation.
This role is open to candidates across Europe and is entirely remote. No specific work location is required as long as you are close to an airport and can meet travel obligations. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the EU (for EU positions) and in the UK (for UK-based roles).
What You'll Be Doing- Lead workstreams in project engagements, overseeing all aspects of delivery, including scope, quality, resources, risks, and timelines
- Manage end-to-end design, development, and delivery of deliverables aligning with specific project objectives
- Identify and proactively address client challenges
- Act as the primary client contact for operational project queries, nurturing relationships through direct interactions, workshops, and digital communications
- Supervise and guide Associate Consultants in your workstreams
- Assist and mentor Associates in enhancing their skills and professional competencies
- Cultivate trusted relationships with client stakeholders
- Provide clients with valuable insights into industry trends and functions
- Contribute to business development efforts and proposal creation
- Help generate and distribute innovative ideas and strategies
- Bachelor's degree with a strong academic background
- Over 2 years of consulting experience
- Expertise in Life Sciences, particularly within Commercial and Medical domains
- Profound comprehension of Commercial operations, with specialized knowledge in two or more of these areas: multi-channel strategy and optimization, product launches, go-to-market strategies, commercial model design, key account management, segmentation and targeting, analytics, and brand strategies
- Sound understanding of commercial and marketing technologies, ideally including Veeva's platforms and solutions and how business consulting services can leverage and enhance them
- Good grasp of business capabilities and drivers supporting digital technologies in Health and life sciences, along with awareness of market trends influencing changes in the Health & Life Sciences sector
- Demonstrated analytical skills for assessing problems quantitatively and qualitatively across various issues
- Solution-oriented mindset, adept at anticipating problems, analyzing them, and proactively finding resolutions
- Proven leadership in delivering complex projects
- Exceptional project management capabilities
- Proficient in fostering collaboration among team members
- Effective at engaging individuals at all organizational levels and swiftly establishing credibility
- Strong personal presence with the ability to influence and persuade diverse stakeholders
- Proficient communicator, both verbally and in writing, in English and the language of the local office
